Air Canada and West Jet has issued travel advice to their customers, tell them to check their flight status before heading to the airport as the storm front moves eastward. This warning is intended for travellers arriving or landing in Ottawa, Kingston, Ont., Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City.

The morning Air Canada flights from Toronto to Kingston have been cancelled. The airline cancelled another flight from Toronto to Quebec City and the one leading from Ottawa Montreal. WestJet has canceled at least one morning flights from Montreal to Toronto.

Environment Canada issued a special weather statement for southern Ontario on Tuesday, warning the Flash freeze. In the greater Toronto area, the temperature down 10 to 15 degrees overnight.
